Our client, a leading provider of video game content and experiences across multiple platforms, is looking to hire an IT Analyst.
Key Responsibilities. Support Player Facing On-Air production; Responds to, identifies, and resolves emergent player and game incidents during broadcast Maintain clear and timely communication with customers during incidents Manage inventory, maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting for all IT hosts and devices in the esports fleet, up to and including: PCs, laptops, mobile devices, etc Identifies and proposes opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies or systemic issues through Process development, Automation, and Documentation. Produce documentation and routine reports to help log show facing technology issues Ensure tech compliance based on Riot s standards and security policies. Work varied schedules, nights, weekends, and/or holidays, and occasionally travel.Requirements and Skills. 3+ years of industry experience or an advanced degree. Experience building and managing windows image creation, deployment, and endpoint management at medium to large scale (MDT, WDS, SCCM, FOG, or similar technologies). Ability to provide constructive feedback around practices, tools, and methods related to production, broadcast and IT operations. Strong grasp of methodological troubleshooting; critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving. Strong communicator and able to organize effectively. Experience following and enforcing technical best practices within your team, including process reviews, audit of standards, tools improvements, and testingPreferred. Experienced with automation and scripting working knowledge on how to take a manual task and execute it through an automated process. Experience supporting IT at live events, conventions, conferences, or relevant gatherings. Familiarity with MDM solutions and managing mobile device users in a restricted environment. Solid grasp of basic networking fundamentals and experience in identify and verifying likely problems. Experience contributing to a technical operations knowledge base such as runbooks and SOPs. Experience with system administration, monitoring, imaging, and asset management.
