TEKsystems is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst for a long-term contract role with an innovative, multinational corporation that designs and manufactures consumer electronics.Overview:Seeking a strong problem solver, equipped with analytical and quantitative skills to approach various kinds of challenges. A critical thinker, able to deconstruct problems and transform insights into data backed recommendations to influence business decisions. Job Description:2 years of relevant experience in a data role: business analytics or product analytics (software)
Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives and driving business decisions using data
Previous experience putting together weekly ad-hoc reports to answer business questions
Proven ability to leverage analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision-making.
Professional experience with writing complex SQL queries.
End-to-end experience with data, including querying, aggregation, and analysis
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience, including executives
Ability to translate high-level business objectives into actions
Strong preference for previous experience within online marketing, general marketing experience can be considered
Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must be a self-starter and problem solver, need someone comfortable with ambiguity and able to be flexible while navigate competing priorities. This team is focused on data modeling, so any experience with customer apps with high traffic/engagement, or any king of online marketing where mass amounts of people interact with the product is helpful.
