Oracle EBS Database AdminLocation: LA Metro, CALong TermMinimum 8+ years of experience in Oracle EBS in the following areas: • Cloning of EBS systems using Rapid Clone• Patch analysis and application using opatch and adpatch• Knowledge of EBS architecture (APPLTOP, Oracle Homes, Middle Tier, etc.) and EBS startup/shutdown procedures• Assist developers in deploying custom code and objects.• Responsible for administrating, monitoring, and troubleshooting the Oracle EBS system.• Understanding of CONTEXTFILE, autoconfig, adctrl and adadminMinimum 10+ years of experience in Oracle and SQL administration: • Working knowledge of Oracle - DataGuard, RMAN, GoldenGate and RAC.• Knowledge of TOAD and Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12c/13c for monitoring and management of databases.• Uninstall, install and troubleshoot Oracle Client, TNS and other connectivity issues• Migrate database objects using Oracle exp/imp tools• Working knowledge of Oracle infrastructure and SQL server infrastructure• Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Management to manage databases• Working knowledge cloning from a SAN snapshot (preferably Compellent SAN)• Working knowledge of SQL server and Oracle in creation of databases• Working knowledge of AIX OS and windows OS• Identify and troubleshoot database performance issues using alert logs, trace files, etc.• Create/modify Linux scripts as needed to automate/facilitate tasks• Create and upgrade databases for both SQL servers and Oracle databases• Monitor and Tune databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)• Define and Document processes and follow change control process
