The residency and student experiential programs at CSMC continue to grow with every successive year, where over 125 residents have graduated from the accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program since 1985 and more than 200 student rotations are offered at CSMC annually. Recently, CSMC was recognized as “Site of the Year” awards by two major affiliated CA Schools of Pharmacy for providing an exceptional experiential learning environment for their students.The Pharmacist Oncology Clinical Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ca will support the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center value-based initiatives for the enterprise through oversight over Oncology P&T and 13 Oncology DRG guideline development committees responsible for development of evidenced based guidelines. You will collaborate with the Clinical Efficiency Value team in developing innovative approaches in managing our oncology patients effectively. Be our designated Oncology PGY2 Residency Program Director (RPD).The RPD will have oversight for ensuring PGY2 program accreditation readiness as well as oversight of the PGY2 training program to ensure the program is following and meeting accreditation standards.OK to work from home 1x day a week.#JobsEducational Requirements:Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacyLicenses:Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.BLS certification as outlined in the Pharmacist Responsibilities in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(C.P.R.)Experience:Relevant pharmacist experienceCompletion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 oncology residency and minimum of three years of additional practice experience in oncology; or has a minimum of five years of experience in oncology practice if candidate has not completed an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in oncology.Physical Demands:Frequent standing; walking, bending; reaching, occasional sitting, pushing & pulling, lifting of materials up to 40 pounds for distances to 10 feet. Responsiveness to auditory alarms and communication devices including: telephones, beepers, fire alarms, and mechanical failure alarms. Sufficient mobility to access equipment, patients and other customers. Able to read information on medication labelsWork Environment (work environments, hazards and exposures the employee may encounter on the job):Exposure to minimal but constant noise levels.Repetitive hand motions.Some functions may include incidental exposure to hazards associated with preparation of hazardous medications.Some functions may require use of personal protective equipment.Use of standard precautions for infection control.Working Title: Pharmacist - Oncology Clinical CoordinatorDepartment: OCC-PharmacyBusiness Entity: Clinical & Support ServicesJob Category: ,Pharmacy,PharmacyJob Specialty: PharmacyPosition Type: Full-timeShift Length: 8 hour shiftShift Type: DayCedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
