Our client, one of the biggest healthcare centers in California, is seeking a Project Manager, CoreTech to join their fun and dynamic team. In this role you will work closely with technical teams and subject matter experts to define requirements and bridge the gap between technical teams and the business. This position is hybrid.
What You Will Do:- Develop Project Charter, gathers the scope and gets sign off from Stakeholders
- Work closely with technical teams and subject matter experts to define requirements and bridges the gap between technical teams and the business.
- Translate technical specifications into detailed requirements.
- Facilitate design discussion along with the technical subject matter experts and gets architecture review board approvals
- Develop detailed project organization charts & roles/responsibilities matrices.
- Create the project budget, analyze new projects, manage project budgets including capital and operating expenses, forecasts spend on a regular basis.
- Build project work breakdown structures & schedules
- Manage project risks, issues, decisions, action items, dependencies, and change requests.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation in the PMO departmental repository and in Service Now.
- Perform meeting management, communicates progress/status and health of the projects including managing the budgets and reporting on it.
- Utilize departmental templates as intended and instructed.
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned projects.
- Foster positive relationships with project team members and stakeholders.
- Perform any other Project Manager duties as assigned by the Portfolio Manager and PMO Director in addition to the above as required by the PMO department.
- PMP certification preferred or other methodology
- Experience in leading enterprise wide projects
- Experience in at least one PPM tool – Service Now ITBM/ Clarity/ Planview, etc.
- Experience in health care organizations preferred
- Experience working with Agile methodologies preferred
- ITIL, CSM, CSPO, CISSP certifications preferred
