RPA Business Analyst - Los Angeles, CA/Remote - ContractResponsibilities:
- Will work with business users to gather and define business requirements; translate the requirements into user stories, process changes and work flows to solve business problems.
- This position will be responsible for the application & implementation of automation technologies within business unit and will develop operating models based on strategic transformational initiatives.
- This business process analyst will facilitate the generation of process maps and Process Definition documents based on defined business needs.
- Collaborate with technology partners in the design of information architecture and process functionality.
- The role will work with the business unit, Operational Excellence and technical teams and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of high quality solutions to meet business needs, including ongoing support of the introduction of new features and capabilities.
- Provide continuous assessment and review of automation activity to drive optimization and value within business unit
- Identify and deliver process improvement to align with strategic needs.
- Develop and sustain an effective automation governance process ensuring that performance is managed, opportunities are identified and risks are appropriately mitigated.
- Manage a thorough change control process to ensure continuity of delivery from automation solutions.
- Designs scalable automation solutions and support implementation.
- 1-3 years of RPA analysis experience. We are looking for people with a passion and eagerness to work with great communication skills.
- Business financial assessment and related business case development
- Familiarity with UI Path, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism Platforms is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Excel: ability to create macros, VBA scripts, monte carlo simulations. Advanced PowerPoint and Presentation skills
- Strong PC and data management skills including the ability to extract, manage, and manipulate large data sets / files
- Ability to personally perform critical analysis, to critique the work of others, and to build the firms automation management model
- Strong understanding of finance, operations, portfolio management and trading concepts
