One of our clients in Los Angeles area is looking for a

Senior Business Systems Analyst (Financial Background) with the following skills and experience:

Description:

We are an IT group that primarily supports finance and accounting user groups. We are looking for a person that has vast experience in the software development process and is extremely hands on. Candidates need to know how to document requirements, work with developers, test software, and write and execute SQL queries in addition to strong excel skills. This person should have a

solid understanding of finance and accounting.

Duties Work closely with senior finance users to understand their processes and data Work collaboratively with the development team to translate the needs of the user's into system requirements Ensure user requirements are met and are validated during development cycles Provide user support, troubleshooting and training Document system enhancements

Skills/Experience Advanced data analysis and research skills Complex report testing and reconciliation skills Experience supporting detailed transactional systems Ability to understand complex systems and end to end business processes Ability to effectively prioritize issues and meet deadlines Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) Comfortable working in an Agile/SCRUM team environment

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, etc.) Experience with

financial systems and processes (e.g. AR, GL, financial reporting, month end close, etc.) Experience with

Hyperion Planning or Cognos Experience with remote teams

Characteristics Team player Analytical Willing to learn Good communication skills Detail-oriented Problem solver Self-starter with organizational skills, strong follow up and research skills Comfortable working in a small team (5-10 people) Local candidate preferred
