In this role you will…
Work within an Agile engineering team to develop robust and reliable software solutions used by over 6000 clients to engage over 75 million people
Redesign existing systems and build new scalable microservices architecture on AWS with .NET Core services
Collaborate closely with product, UI/UX, and central engineering teams to build elegant and scalable web applications
Work with SDETs, SREs, and others to help automate manual processes and inefficiencies
Work with more junior engineers to help them achieve their career goals
Be curious, collaborate, and grow your career
Own the development and deployment of services end-to-end
Design, architect, and document software specifications with security/scalability/performance in mind.
You’ve got what it takes if you have…BS/MS in Computer science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
5+ years of experience in full-stack development of external-facing web applications
Experience developing services using modern API standards such as REST or GraphQL
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
Strong understanding of architecture and deep knowledge of the inner workings of programming languages
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical skills to help solve complex problems in an enterprise environment
Comfort with working collaboratively and being a great teammate
Comfort with working on all aspects of feature and infrastructure development including code, testing, deploying/deployment pipelines, CI/CD, etc
Extra dose of awesome if you have…Experience with C# .NET (but we interview language agnostically)
Familiarity with Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js or Angular
Experience with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
