A multi-national company in the consumer electronics sector is hiring for senior-level .Net software engineers to join their team. They recently landed a project with another, and very well-known company in consumer electronics and will be supporting a large-scale web development project. In this role you will interface with a nationally distributed team and working mostly from home. There will be a slight focus in backend development, but to be successful in this role you have a solid understanding of the entire .NET stack and a modern JavaScript client-side framework. Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise-grade and/or consumer-facing software development
- Strong C# programming skills
- Working experience in ASP.Net 4.5+
- MVC5+
- Some work with a modern client-side JavaScript framework - React, Vue, and/or Angular 2+
- Ability to develop scalable RESTful APIs from the ground up
- Experience with an ORM like Entity Framework
- Knowledge of relational database systems - MS SQL
- Working experience in an agile development environment
- NUnit for unit testing
- High level concepts including design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and the like
- Prior experience supporting architecture of new applications
- Excellent communication - oral and written
- Self-starter and clear ability to self-manage, hit project deadlines, be show accountability for your work
- Ability to travel as necessary (20%)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science
- Previous experience in a partial architecture and/or team lead capacity
- Enterprise grade work with React/Redux
- ASP.Net Core 2.0 and Entity Framework Core
- Experience with Microservices and mixed development environments
- Some knowledge of NodeJS
- Cloud experience on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Prior experience working partially or full remote
- 20% Client side
