- Lead or participate in all aspects of the ServiceNow software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Development, Quality Assurance, Deployment, Training and Operational Support.
- Creation of system documentation for software development and quality assurance processes.
- Configuration, integration, custom development and other hands-on technical activities related to the ServiceNow platform.
- Design, build and configure scalable solutions with a clear understanding of dependencies, connections and risks.
- Influence solution design and approach to minimize customizations and technical debt.
- Develop new and support existing integrations with other applications and 3rd party tools.
- Proactively identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Management of technical projects.
- Configuration management and CMDB support.
- Business intelligence analysis and reporting.
- Level 3 support for escalated issues.
- Continuous improvement. Stay abreast of ServiceNow latest features and functionality.
- Assist with story writing, grooming and level of effort estimation.
- Develop and maintain knowledge, technical and process documentation, as needed.
- Build relationships across the organization and with external partners.
- Collaborate with other Technology teams and internal clients to create new functionality, and to troubleshoot and resolve reported problems.
- Manage vendor relationships and mentor other team members.

- ServiceNow Advanced System Administration
- ServiceNow Application Development
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow Now Platform core capabilities such as CMDB, Workflows, Reporting, Service Catalog, Service Portal, etc.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow applications such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM and/or SecOps.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework (ATF)
- Advanced experience configuring and scripting business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, notification events, ACLs, workflow activities, etc.
- Advanced JavaScript skills
- ServiceNow Web Technologies experience including Javascript, XML, HTML, CSS, Web services
- ServiceNow Configuration Management (CMDB) experience
- ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping experience preferred
- Experience with database design schemas and data modeling
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with internal and external systems (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML, Integration Hub, etc.)
- Experience working in and managing multiple update sets and coordinating their promotion throughout multiple instances.
- Ongoing knowledge of ServiceNow latest features and best practices.
- Thorough understanding of the ITSM/ ITIL framework
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Advanced analytical skills to guide critical systems development to meet business needs
- Working knowledge of Agile-based methodologies (such as Scrum).
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
- Strong customer centric orientation with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Self-starter with strong technical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly

- 5+ years applied technical experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development, configuration and administration experience.
- ServiceNow System Administration Certification strongly preferred
- ServiceNow Application Developer Certification a plus
- ITIL Foundations Certification a plus
- Technical consulting experience a plus
