Reputable web and mobile consumer facing technology company needs an experienced Software Engineer with Node and Python development experience!Preference is Los Angeles based, but remote for out of area candidates is an option!3+ years experience in Node.js, Ruby, Python or similar languages2+ years experience with Postgres or MySQL Must have expertise in coding MVC design patterns Must be comfortable working with source control and unit testing Fluent in either SQL scripting Fluent in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQuery and AJAX technologies Expertise working with AWS Cloud (EC2, ECS, Lambda functions etc)A deep appreciation for Open Source technologies and a passion for the web. Is a team player and is able to work well with a diverse group of people. Able to handle and prioritize many tasks at once. Ability to comfortably work across multiple technical areas simultaneously or as need arises. Must be comfortable with unexpected work load and priority changes.
