As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of accuracy and reliability regarding technology applications. You will assist Team Managers, Supervisors and various Technology Department teams to ensure applications and reports are developed and implemented at their expected levels. You will assist the Technology Department with performing quality assurance procedures for software implementations, upgrades, custom application and report development while accomplishing these and other critical functions:

Receives guidance from the Team Manager and Supervisor in order to test, document, and maintain applications and reports for the firmAssists with isolating, troubleshooting and resolving problems and issues with technology projects.Develops and executes test plans with guidance from the Team and Project Manager.Keeps abreast of legal industry applications, operating systems, firm data, data relationships and user experience needs. Writes SQL to validate testing results under the manager s guidance.Develops productive and collaborative relationships with project team members and requestors to help ensure that applications and reports are developed and implemented at their expected levels.Communicates with the Team Manager and Supervisor regarding testing status in accordance with project management procedures.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Analyst must have strong knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Exchange and Document Management Systems, as well as knowledge of reporting tools (e.g. Crystal Report, Business Objects), server hardware/software configuration, data warehousing concepts and processes, and systems analysis and design methods. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills needed for all primary duties of position, including comprehending and communicating data. The successful candidate must have well developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.

A Bachelor s degree in Technology or a related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years Quality Assurance experience is required, including experience using relational database systems (e.g. Microsoft SQL). Experience with the testing of web, client server, and n-tiered systems, as well as experience with data modeling, customization, and data conversion is preferred.
