A power player restaurant group in Los Angeles is seeking a Catering Sales Manager for a brand new concept coming to Santa Monica! This is a very trendy and popular group with a loyal following!
This will be a very hands-on position and we are looking for a team player! He or she will collaborate with supporting departments and executive management to achieve sales goals. Looking for a jack of all trades with a creative mind who is eager to grow with an already successful business.
Responsibilities:
- Local outreach and driving sales, creating relationships and maintaining relationships for future business
- Corresponding with potential customers providing any requested information concerning bids, proposals, confirmation of bookings, thank you letters, follow-up letters and client tracking
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all sales functions and transactions
- Overseeing important catering functions
- Taking extra steps to focus on details and guest service
- Leading a small team of catering sales individuals
Requirements:
- An amazing sense of hospitality!
- A love of great food!
- 3+ years of Catering Sales Management experience
- Proven success with achieving sales goals
- Must be very detail-oriented & can prioritize tasks
- Quick to think on the fly and can swiftly come up with solutions to unexpected issues
- Able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
- Needs to proactively follow up with leads/open ended items
- Can easily adapt to the dynamic needs of a multi-faceted business
Compensation package includes a base salary $55-60k base salary + commission, medical, & PTO! (Total annual compensation including commission = $75-85K)
