Job Description:

As a Meal Packing Associate, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all meals are packed efficiently and according to our quality standards. You will work closely with our culinary team to prepare meal packages that will be distributed to the unhoused community across our city.

Key Responsibilities:

Packing meals in accordance with provided instructions and nutritional guidelines.

Ensuring that all packages are sealed properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.

Assisting in the kitchen with meal preparation as needed, including washing, peeling, chopping, and sorting ingredients.

Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Collaborating with the logistics team to organize meal packages for distribution.

Participating in community events and meal distributions as part of our outreach efforts.

Providing feedback on meal packaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in food service, packaging, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Team player with excellent communication skills.

Great attendance/ on time.

Passion for community service and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
