Saddle Ranch Chop House is Seeking an Experienced Events Coordinator.

Position Summary:

As a Event Coordinator you will work jointly with Operations to ensure that every guest is treated like royalty from the point of contact as well as throughout the duration of their restaurant experience. This position is responsible for attaining monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. The Special Events Coordinator is instrumental in assuring focused and productive communication with new and existing clients, Operations Management Teams, Culinary Operations Teams, and the Executive Operations Team. The position oversees various administrative functions essential for everyday operation of the department, from scheduling meetings to responding to guest inquiries, proposing event options, and working closely with clients to plan and execute flawless and unforgettable on-site events, as well as catered banquets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain a positive relationship with existing clients while assisting in obtaining new clients

- Manage a high volume of special event inquiries that are received through our internal system, emails and/or phone calls

- Prepare proposals, agreements, sales reports, presentations and sales analyses

- Maintain department financial reports and goals

- Convert potential clients into buyers by educating them on our unique brand and concept

- Coordinate between Operations, Culinary and Special Events to ensure clear and concise communication and execution of events

- Responsible for department calendar management, including possible special event prospects, catering and bookings

- Maintain a professional, warm, welcoming and enthusiastic attitude at all times

- Assist in special projects and projects as given by Executive Operations Team

- Required to travel and attend events in Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Orange County and Arizona.

- Will require the use of your own personal vehicle

- Must be flexible and able to adapt to last-minute and ongoing changes

Education, Qualification and Working Conditions:

- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively with strong attention to details

- Well organized and consistently follows tasks through to completion

- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required

- Able to work independently and in team settings

- Flexible to work in non-business hours, such as on-site and off-site for events, weekends, holidays and multiple site locations

- Minimum 2-3 year background in sales, catering or special events in hospitality and/or restaurant industry

- Experience in ALOHA POS system is preferred

- Experience in Caterease or Delphi systems preferred

- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and functional knowledge of Power Point

Rate of pay: $20 - $22 hourly + in addition to commission which can equivocate to $75k a year
