Currently looking for a X-Ray/ Medical Assistant to fill a great opportunity at MaxhealthLA. The ideal candidate will hold a current CRT (California Radiological Tech) and Medical Assistant License. Position is part time on Saturday's with potential for more hours.
Responsibilities of the X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant:
-Provide direct and indirect patient care services.
-Perform X-Rays of extremities, head, neck, torso, and other bones based on the MD's orders.
-Mark X-rays and ready for MD consult w/ patient (will provide training)
-Provide injections such as Trigger Point Injections (will provide training, if needed)
-Be back up for Phlebotomist, when necessary.
-Assist Chiropractors with patient flow, rotating patient's on and off different modality devices.
-Assist with the Chiropractic equipment such as working the STIM machine and gun work.
Saturday from 8:00am-2:30pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
