We are looking for a part-time Payroll Administrator to join our team.
Duties include:
Payroll for approximately 85 employees.
Establishing employee records.
Ensuring that employee changes are entered correctly and on a timely basis.
Reviewing and updating changes (i.e., address, insurance, deductions, status and pay).
Verifying and calculating paid-time-off is correct.
Determine payroll liabilities by entering federal and state income and social security tax. information, direct deposits, & wage assignments.
Keep employees informed of changes in salary.
Answer employee payroll questions.
Work with & assist in enrolling/auditing health insurance.
Well versed in federal and state laws for California and LA City.
Requirements:
3-5 years of payroll experience performing all payroll functions
Experience with Sage a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, organization, good judgment and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Must be a strong team-player and have excellent employee-services skill.
HR experience a plus.
