We are looking for a full time Maintenance/Custodian, to take care of our church buildings and carry out cleaning and light maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities. Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Make room set ups of table/chairs as directed.
Light maintenance building/grounds repairs, changing light bulbs, batteries, etc. Occasional painting, and light gardening/grounds work.
Stock and maintain supply rooms. Order supplies
Cooperate with of the Pastoral and Administrative staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as a Janitor
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Integrity and ability to work independently
Physical condition able to perform job.
Ability to pass safety background checks and drug tests.
This job is a 30 hour a week job and will sometimes be more.
The individual will report to our Senior Pastor
