As an immigration Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring their rights are protected and advocating on their behalf in various legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations pertaining to various legal fields
- Utilize legal databases like Westlaw for research purposes
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
-1-3 years of experience in Asylum immigration law
- 1 Writing example(preferably Asylum)
-Ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience representing clients in court
- Admitted to the state bar association where practicing
- Strong knowledge of Asylum immigration law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write clearly and persuasively
- Proficient in legal drafting techniques
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $150.00 - $270.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
License/Certification: Bar (Preferred)
Ability to Commute: Diamond Bar, CA 91765 (Preferred)
