About Us:
We're a printing and signage company looking for a creative Graphic Designer to join our team. We handle everything from vinyl graphics to large format prints, and we need someone who can help with design and production.
Job Overview:
This is a full-time position, but we'll start with a trial period to make sure we're a good fit for each other. This can be part-time or on a contract basis to begin with.
Responsibilities:
Design for various print and digital projects, including vinyl graphics, banners, signage, and vehicle wraps.
Prepare files for printing, ensuring they meet specifications for size, color, and material.
Assist in production tasks such as weeding vinyl, painting, mounting, and overseeing the printers.
Collaborate with the team to ensure all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Learn and maintain knowledge of our printers and systems to ensure efficient workflow.
Perform quality checks on final prints and products before delivery to clients.
Support other team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a printing or signage environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop).
Familiarity with preparing files for print production, including knowledge of bleed, resolution, and color modes.
Ability to adapt to various tasks, including hands-on work in production (e.g., weeding vinyl, painting, mounting).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
Willingness to learn about our specific printers and production processes.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative when needed.
