We are seeking a warehouse team lead in our Food Manufacturing plant. You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

Warehouse team leader needs to be flexible, first or second

1st shift 4am - 1:30pm

2nd shift 2:00pm to 11:00pm

Duties:

Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams

Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel

Place production orders from customers

Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Manufacturing team lead needs to be flexible, first or second

Qualifications:

Previous experience in production, manufacturing, and FOOD related environment

Knowledge of production tools and equipment

Bilingual or Spanish Speaking only ok.

1st and 2nd Shift

Strong leadership qualities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

QA (Quality Assurance) team lead

Must have 2 years TL experience in food manufacturing

Roles and Responsibilities

Knowledge of food safety is preferred

Have excellent listening and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Excellent organization and time management skills

Ability to organize and prioritize work based on urgency, efficiency, and other factors

Food industry experience is valued, but not required

Conduct assessments that measure conformity to established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards for clients

Observe food prep and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices

Experience working in a food manufacturing environment; knowledgeable and experienced in general food safety programs and policies - including government regulations, FDA, USDA, AIB, HACCP, GMP, and Allergen Program Preferred

Supports completion and filing of documentation, including but not limited to ingredients and finished product

Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense, and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers, and/or government legislation, including timely communication to appropriate facility management of any non-conformity issues or violations found
