Goal: Help our family get fully settled and organized before Thanksgiving
About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and trustworthy Home Assistant to help my wife with daily home management tasks. We recently downsized from a 4-bedroom townhouse to a 2-bedroom home, and we need someone who can help make the new space feel complete, comfortable, and well organized.
Main Responsibilities:
Decluttering & Selling: Help identify items we no longer need, take photos, post listings (Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, etc.), and handle local sales or donations.
Organization & Setup: Assist with unpacking, sorting, labeling, and organizing rooms, closets, and storage areas.
Errands & Shopping: Run errands such as grocery runs, dry cleaning, small household purchases, or store returns.
Light Cleaning: Help with general upkeep — wiping surfaces, tidying, laundry assistance, organizing cabinets, etc.
Scheduling & Coordination: Help coordinate with cleaners, maintenance, or delivery people as needed.
Ideal Person:
Dependable and professional with good communication skills
Trustworthy and detail-oriented
Comfortable using apps for selling items (Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Poshmark, etc.)
Has reliable transportation
Positive, helpful attitude
Hours: Flexible - starting part-time (10–20 hours/week) and can increase as needed.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay: $18-20per hour DOE
