Job Title: Housing Inspection Coordinator

Summary
The Housing Inspection Coordinator supports the Housing Authority’s inspection process by scheduling, tracking, and coordinating housing inspections in compliance with HUD Housing Quality Standards (HQS). This role serves as a key liaison between inspectors, landlords, tenants, and internal staff.
Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate initial, annual, and special inspections
Communicate inspection appointments, results, and follow-ups
Track inspection statuses, re-inspections, and compliance deadlines
Maintain accurate records in housing and inspection systems
Prepare inspection-related correspondence and reports
Support compliance with HUD, Section 8, and local housing regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
1+ year experience in housing programs, inspections, or administrative support
Knowledge of HUD/HQS or Section 8 preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
