Small Metaphysical/Spiritual store seeking strong multi-tasker who knows how to make work fun. The ideal candidates will be long-term and have some metaphysical knowledge or interest. Schedule is combination of weekdays/nights and some weekends and changes weekly; 5 days a week preferred. Shifts are flexible and can be 6 to 8 hours anytime from mid morning thru 9 pm.
QUALIFICATIONS: Responsible self-starter; detail oriented; hard worker with integrity and who is able to take direction . Employee needs exceptional customer service skills and willingness to cooperate with coworkers, management, and clients/customers. We are seeking a creative, proactive problem solver who is goal oriented and able to retain information, knows how to work on a deadline and is able to function/work well when busy and to maximize work when slow. Candidate should have general knowledge of office machines and POS or ability to learn quickly.
DUTIES: Scheduling appointments, organizing paperwork, maintaining store displays, errand running, doing inventory. Will provide support for sales staff and receive retail sales training for our specialty- "niche "- market. Worker needs to be comfortable restocking on a ladder, doing light manual labor and cleaning. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. boxes on a daily basis to restock. Good driving record required for errands. Good phone etiquette and message taking a must!
This position is for an adaptable personality as it bridges clerical, sales and merchandising. Employee must be bondable; Bi-lingual a plus but not necessary. Students with flexible schedules considered; knowledge of Excel and Word appreciated; art, design, or folklore backgrounds a plus. Attach photo and resume.
