Objectives and Key Responsibilities:

1.Business Systems Analysis Activities •Gather, validate and translate business requirements •Solicits for understanding and clarifying of business requirements by asking probing questions and helping in prioritization •Applies understanding of technology to influence and assess feasibility of solutions •Incorporates and optimizes non-functional requirements into solution •Adapts to various methodologies •Collaborate in testing process to ensure business requirements are accounted for in solution testing •Recommends test scenarios to business testers; assists in defect analysis to assess impact on solution •Leads end to end business requirements gathering process •Offers opportunities and suggestions on how to improve the solution

2.Business Acumen •Understand business objectives and how technology can optimize and enable solutions •Focus on business value proposition •Incorporates business objectives when evaluating processes to remove redundancies and waste •Provides ideas on how technology can improve business processes •Apply understanding of 'As Is' and 'To Be' processes to develop solution •Understand product offerings and the market •Recommends solutions for multiple channels

3.Technology Security Standards •Comply with enterprise security protocols •Recognize applicable standards for data under own control •Consider security implications in activities and designs •Use approved security tools •Explains security standards to others •Identifies applicable security/data standards when reviewing requirements and recommends controls to ensure compliance

4.Analytical •Identify applicable information to inform analysis •Identify and evaluate varying perspectives •Interpret information and draw conclusions •Breaks complex topics into meaningful chunks of information •Sorts through large amounts of data to assess for relevancy •Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to system development •Seeks out multiple sources to gather information •Identifies cause and effect relationships between known and unknown variables •Draws correlations from non-standard data sets and uses broader inferences to drive business value

5.Adaptable •Ability to appropriately adjust to changing environment •Quickly assimilate to changes •Adjust plans and activities based on changes to environment, quickly assessing options and deciding a course of action •Rapidly learn and apply new knowledge and skills

6.Customer-centric •Seek out and value perspective of customer •Advocate for the customer •Weigh impact to customer experience in decision-making •Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems

7.Quality Management •Follow quality control guidelines & practices •Continually seek opportunities to improve solutions, processes and performance •Evaluates quality processes and seeks opportunities to streamline •Considers the customer experience, business impact and solution objective when managing risks and development and design of solutions •Pro-actively identifies patterns in issues and researches root-cause to improve overall quality •Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support •Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing client server and Web applications and sites. Required Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of business systems analysis experience
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare Industry
  • 2+ years of experience in EDI
  • Ability to analyze and document process and data flow
  • 1+ year of experience working with Agile development methodologies
  • 1+ year of experience creating features & user stories and translating those into technical solutions/requirements
  • 1+ year of experience working with technical developers/engineer
  • 1+ year of experience writing SQL queries

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
