Work you'll do
  • Implement risk management programs for our federal clients by utilizing NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance frameworks.
  • Enhance cyber awareness with clients and project teams.
  • Work alongside federal clients to help them mitigate risk with the use of continuous monitoring and incident response.
  • Establish security controls to ensure protection of client systems.
  • Implement cutting edge security tools for our federal clients.
  • Looking for a leader who can help to build and sustain relationships, sell and deliver work, and grow Deloitte's brand and reputation.
  • This leader should have a strong cyber background, relevant experience working in or for a large public or private university, and sufficient consulting experience to manage projects and teams with reasonable oversight.
  • Equally important, this leader should have business development experience selling different types of cyber services.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree required in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

8+ years assisting with cyber security assessments, preparing cyber strategy/roadmaps or business value relationships/communications

2+ years experience supporting Cybersecurity functions for an accredited higher education institution

2+ years experience in a business development or IT consulting experience

Experience managing teams conducting or delivering cybersecurity services

Experience in Cybersecurity Compliance, Risk assessments, Risk Management and cyber security tools

Preferred:

Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)

Secret security clearance preferred, not required

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $160,778 to $250,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
