Kelly Technology has an opening for a REMOTE Senior Security Engineer (Microsoft) to work with our client. Duration: 1 year JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, engineer & support Azure Active Directory, and on-premise Active Directory security improvements
  • Partner with cloud teams to secure Active Directory in multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Partner with M365 technical team to design, engineer & support security improvements for email, collaboration, file sharing and other at-risk services
  • Secure critical infrastructure: domain controllers, certificate services, key management, operating systems, etc.
  • Perform regular service security health checks and risk assessments
  • Develop and document operational duties for the technical teams to support security & compliance controls
  • Work with self-managed academic units to adopt centralized standards of practice and controls
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum 10 years in IT as architect and engineer
  • Expert in Directory Services including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services, and Group Policy authoring
  • Expert in designing, implementing & supporting AAD and AD implementations
  • Extensive experience in engineering & defining AD security standards
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security services (Defender, Compliance, Records Management, eDiscovery, Data Loss Prevention, Threat Analytics)
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access, Cloud App Security, Endpoint Configuration Manager)
  • Expertise with PowerShell and Python
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of identity and access management best practices and architecture
  • Familiar with common cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST 800-171, ISO 27001/27002, NIST 800-63)
  • Higher education experience, and/or working in a federated IT environment
