WHO YOU ARE:
An appreciator of music and the digital age of tech/entertainment.
Passionate about working with and analyzing data - especially Big Data.
Innovative and loves having fun.
Well versed in Agile methodology.
Able to communicate effectively whether in-person or electronically.
Willing to learn new programs and apps as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3+ years experience with SQL.
1-2+ years experience with building and consuming APIs (PHP or Python, Node.js and MVC Frameworks).
Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Google Data Studio.
Experience with Python, PHP or Node.js.
BONUS POINTS:
Google Cloud or AWS Cloud Platform
BigQuery, ElasticSearch, Google Cloud Storage or AWS S3
Experience with data warehousing
Proficient with version control (Git)
WHAT YOULL BE DOING:
Assisting our lead Data Scientist with analyzing data and turning data into actionable insights.
Liaise between our LA HQ and data team of Create Music Groups Canada branch tech team.
Prepare the "Big Data" infrastructure and process the data to be analyzed by our Data Scientist.
Assist in building data products for our data-driven decision support system and Business Intelligence portal.
Using cloud solutions of AWS Cloud and Google Cloud Platform. We use technologies such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Google Apps Script, ElasticSearch, Mysql, and MongoDB etc.
COMPENSATION:
Health benefits and competitive salary in the range of $50 - 80k depending on experience.
