Very successful and best in the industry, Event Technology and Special Event Lighting company currently seeking an experienced Full Time Operations Manager to work within the hotel, entertainment, and events industry. We handle all types of events including, Red Carpet Events, Award Shows, Corporate Events, Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and Special Events.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Assistance with scheduling technicians, staging equipment, leading off-site setups, QCing equipment and overseeing technicians, property and vendor relationships.
Direct day-to-day floor operations of technicians, including set and strike (ie. audio, visual, lighting, rigging, etc.), scheduling, delegating tasks appropriately, and outsourcing equipment when neccasary efficiently.
Provide superior customer service by establishing excellent working relationships with clients, team members, properties, and all vendors.
Effectively utilize all company computer systems and software programs.
High school graduate college preferred; knowledge of the live event industry
Demonstrate knowledge of audiovisual equipment and computer software systems
Must have a Drivers License with a clean record
Ability to work evenings and weekends Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more based on average equipment weight Flexible, committed, and reliable Ability to work well under pressure Minimum of High School graduate/GED, AA/BS preferred. Minimum of 2 or more years of audiovisual technical experience, including some previous supervisory experience.
