Experienced Automotive Service Writer / Advisor (Full-Time)

Position: Automotive Service Writer / Advisor
Minimum Experience: 2+ years in a similar role
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday – Saturday)
Compensation: Base pay plus commission (earnings based on experience and performance)
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist with their automotive service needs in a professional and courteous manner
Write accurate and detailed repair orders
Communicate effectively between customers, technicians, and management
Provide clear and honest repair estimates and explain recommended services
Coordinate parts ordering and ensure efficient workflow
Follow up with customers regarding authorizations, updates, and vehicle status
Maintain strong relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Writer or Advisor
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance, and repairs
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience using automotive shop management software (ShopMonkey or similar preferred)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
