A large property management group is looking for an experienced maintenance technician in the San Fernando Valley area.
DUTIES:
- Maintain 2 Townhouse/Apartment buildings
- Turning units for new tenants
- Assisting with work orders
- Painting, drywall repair, fixing/installing light fixtures, installing brand new appliances
MUST HAVES:
- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance tech
- Experience with light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Able to prioritize different projects with competing deadlines
- Detailed-oriented and organized
- Reliable, show up on time every day
- Strong customer facing skills & experience, strong communication skills
- Able to lift 75 lbs
- Tools: Levels, tape measure, drill, nail bar, screwdrivers, pliers, framing hammer, square, utility knives, trowels, paint rollers and refills, paint tray, brushes, etc.
- Work boots, work jeans or pants with no holes or rips, plain t-shirts
JOB DETAILS:
- $20 p/h
- Typical work week M-F 40hrs, from 8:30am-5pm
- This a long term position
