This position will be responsible for transporting patients. Driver must speak English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
-Transport and assist all participants requiring transportation service.
-Assists each passenger to assure safe entry and seating, including pick-up and drop off at door when needed; curb to curb service; fastening of safety belts on both ambulatory and wheelchair passengers. Provide standby assistance for all passengers.
-Provide additional assistance to clients requiring special attention due to their physical and/or cognitive disabilities .
-Maintaining all required logs (daily trip sheets)
-Performing complete morning vehicle inspections and reporting all safety hazards.
-Perform other related duties as assigned at the center.
Qualifications
-Clean driving record, minimum two years driving experience required and experience working with elderly population preferred.
