- Create world-class content experiences for both in-product and training activities including; in-person and virtual classrooms, tutorials/webinars, and product implementations. Words matter, and you’ll use the right phrasing and guidance to inform and empower our employees, consultants, and clients.
- Partner with product, engineering, marketing, and other content teams on end-to-end learning scenarios; helping ensure a consistent and coherent content experience across various document/collateral types and communication channels.
- Develop tools and processes to improve the training content-production and review pipeline across all business functions and stakeholders.
- Provide writing and editing support for other areas of the training and product functions including, but not limited to; marketing, implementation, and training certification.
- Define training content strategy, influence others, and help align teams in cross-product education scenarios.
- Review and use data to help inform content strategy and develop your knowledge of project and employee needs.
- Excellent Communicator. Superior writing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a diverse audience. Ability to manage versions and revisions across multiple curriculum projects and platforms.
- Experienced. 2+ or more years’ experience in technical writing for commercial software products.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science or a related discipline, or have equivalent work experience.
- Detail-oriented. Nothing gets overlooked when it comes to you.
- Interpersonal. You have the ability to interact frequently with program managers, developers, quality engineers, and other writers for the purpose of gaining and clarifying technical knowledge of our products and technology.
- Energetic and Creative. Energy and enthusiasm are your hallmarks. You can create globalized content to industry and company standards.
- Agile. You have the ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and then be able to write clear and accurate product/training solutions at scale.
- A portfolio of technical writing examples, preferably in the context of product implementation guides or e-learning materials.
- Proficiency in eLearning and multimedia tools (e.g. Captivate, Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office)
- Learning management system experience (e.g. Dayforce Learning)
- Past Experience with HTML, Javascript, or CSS languages
- Understanding of Product Development Lifecycle and SaaS delivery
