Staff Software Engineer needed for Exciting Opportunity

Looking for a Staff Software Engineer to come join our client's team! Our client is a leading enterprise software company providing cloud software which assists in the automation and control of financial processes.

As the Staff Software Engineer, you will play the role of architecting innovative technical testing solutions that drive automation as well as automating tests for web-based applications and APIs. You will also lead the planning and implementation of strategies for critical product innovation in addition to mentoring other engineers on the team.

This is Where You'll Work:

Location: Woodland Hills or Pleasanton, CA

This is What You'll Do:

  • Architect, design, develop, and deliver scalable and secure distributed back end services.

  • Work with product managers, architects and Engineering team to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.

  • Produce bullet proof code that is fault tolerant, efficient, and maintainable.

  • Work in agile teams in a collaborative manner.

  • Mentor and inspire a team of developers and testers to enhance best practices for the full software development lifecycle including coding reviews, build processes, and testing.

This is What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Web Application, SaaS, and RESTful API testing.

  • 7+ years of hands-on test automation development.

  • 7+ years of working experience in OOP programming languages, specifically C#(with .NET core and NUnit / XUnit / MSTest).

  • Strong knowledge of cloud native/cloud first applications in a cloud environment.

  • Strong database experience such as SQL.

  • Familiar with ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or Microsoft).

  • Strong knowledge of Xpath, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.

  • Problem-solving skills, and ability to take ownership of issues.
