Data Administrator Pay: 30-35/hr Duration: 6 + months Location Los Angeles, CA/Remote (Position will be remote until the office opens back up in September, then it would need to be onsite)The Studio Data Science & Engineering Team is looking for a Studio Data Administrator Contractor to provide data operations support for strategic Studio projects. This contractor will take on special projects to manage and improve some of our most important Studio Production and Finance data sets. With the high quality data that these projects provide, our team will be able to offer new analyses, reports, and data products that help our Studio scale globally. The ideal candidate will have a passion for film and TV, and a background in data operations. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with studio production processes, both for live action and animation. Understanding of finance and accounting principles is a plus.Requirements:- Excellent attention to detail

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize a lot of information across a broad
- ecosystem to make informed decisions
- 3+ years of experience in data operations and administration (examples: data
- collection, data cleaning, data validation and discrepancy handling, entity mapping,
- etc.)
- Strong cross-functional and cross-cultural communication
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Excel
- Resourceful and adaptable - ability to move forward in the face of ambiguity to find
- answers and unblock work
- Familiarity with finance and accounting principles is a plus
- Basic familiarity with data warehouses is a plus
- Improve data coverage across all our Studio productions by identifying gaps in existing
- datasets and filling the gaps through specified data processes
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, data duplication issues, or other data
- quality issues that may occur
- Extract and normalize data from multiple source formats
- Tag, label, or classify certain data items into categories based on context
- Collaborate with business teams in Studio Production or Studio Finance to gather
- needed context on your data tasks (for example, for unique production circumstances)
- Collaborate with Data Science & Engineering team members to find better ways to collect and manage data
