Description:2nd shiftJob will be for an experienced Machinist to work on multiple machines (vertical and horizontal mills).A machinist with Mazak brand machining experience is highly preferred.Must also be able to use measuring tools, such as dial calipers, micrometers, and read blueprints.Must be able to understand g or m code, and do set ups.Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC Horizontal and vertical mills and ensure all materials are readily available Perform G and M code basic editing Manufacture product that meets quality requirements. Inspect product and, if non-conforming, process via non-conforming material procedures. Carry out production, 1st piece inspection, and machine operation duties Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work Correctly process work via required paperwork and MRP system. Advise supervision of issues that arise. Translating engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) into logical processes to complete tasks. Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management Maintain a safe and clean workspace Follow established safety rules and regulations Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict safety guidelines of the companyQualifications 3-5 years’ experience is preferred Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting Ability to accurately read complex blueprintsSkills:machinist, cnc, cnc machining, mazak, blueprint, machining, calipers, cnc setup, Cnc lathe, Cnc millAdditional Skills & Qualifications:2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm$24.00 per hour for 3+ years experience in a machine shop environment, utilizing either a Mill or a LatheNo experience with CNC programming necessary, but need to be able to conduct own set ups and read blueprints proficiently.Requirements:Utilize manufacturing documentation (travelers, blueprints, sketches, etc.) to:Carry out production, 1st piece inspection, and machine operation dutiesSet up machinery and ensure all materials are readily availableSet up Tooling,and fixturesOperate Saws, milling machines, lathes and drill presses, deburring tools, grinders, and other power toolsAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
