The Accounting Manager will regulate daily operations such as, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. A great opportunity for an Accounting Manager seeking to establish their worth by scaling the accounting and finance operations in a growing company.Key responsibilitiesCollaborate with FP&A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlookStrong in GL, financial statements, budgeting, standard accounting activities, month end close, and work with execs; there are over 70 legal entities involvedOn a monthly basis, update accounting records and close booksUpdate files for business and report to executive leadershipPrepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and proceduresAssist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processesDrive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlinesRegular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accountsPlease email resumes to toby.slagle@rhmr.comRequirements
Over 5 years of accounting experience in the healthcare industry
Earlier work involving performance analysis
General familiarity with Accrual Accounting
Adeptness in forecasting
Practical knowledge of month end closings
Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting
Management reporting experience highly preferred
Budgeting experience
Background working with cash reconciliations
Previous experience working with Income Tax Accounting
Command of Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics
Strong familiarity with general ledger
Good understanding of auditing
Analyze Financial Statements experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Reliable technology and analytical abilities
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA is a plus
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
