DescriptionRobert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for a growing health supplement company. This rewarding opportunity will manage all activities in the accounts payable function. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. Reviews applicable accounting reports and accounts payable register to ensure accuracy. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.Responsibilities:
Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Insures a positive work environment for the department
Acts as a liaison between the company, government and external accountants to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.
Manages AP. Includes, Customer Vendor Relations, Purchase orders and the AP disbursements to handles all check disbursements, 1099 and tax-related matters for 2-3 ERP systems.

Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
Must have large ERP AP system experience, as well as 1099 filing experience
Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting accountants, clients, and upper management
