About the Role

The Consulting Intern will help develop and improve Leapgen'sservices delivery methodology and support Leapgen consultants as a member of client project teams. This role offers the intern an immersion into a fast-paced, high-growth digital transformation company. The intern will work closely with key staff members, including the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Service Officer (our co-founders), as well as senior consultants and customers.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Build out tools and templates with guidance from the company's services team.

  • Develop presentation materials (e.g., slides, videos)for conferences/seminars.

  • Conduct analyses and other quantitative activities for team members.

  • Conduct HR- and IT-related research.

  • Support senior project staff in executing critical project tasks.

  • Provide various project management support to other experienced staff members.

  • Conduct market research in support of the Executive Team's decisions to bring new services to market.

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge & Abilities

  • 2-4 years working experience; consulting experience - either customer-facing or internal - is preferred

  • HR and/or IT domain knowledge is preferred

  • Experience - professional or academic - in any of the following areas is strongly preferred:

    • Strategy consulting

    • Business architecture design (e.g., persona development, process design)

    • Technical architecture design (e.g., development of system diagrams, integration requirements development)

    • Organizational design and/or change management

    • Development of executive summaries / presentations

    • Survey data analysis

  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Experience building project plans preferred

  • Proficiency with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Apps

  • Proficiency developing process flows (e.g., LucidChart, Visio) preferred

Required Education

  • Bachelor's

  • Working toward Master's

Additional Information

Time Commitment: 1-2 days per week (flexible hours) during school year; full-time during summer
