Configure, test, maintain, and install application software, system management tools, and operating systems
Support redundancy strategies, security, and backup
Take part in the design of information and operational support systems
Watch and trial application performance for potential bottlenecks, recognize possible solutions, and function with developers to carry out those fixes
Control and watch all installed systems and infrastructure
Compose and sustain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Work together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Supply 2nd and 3rd level support
Take preventive action to safeguard the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
RequirementsSystems Engineer Requirements
If you have solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks, you will be strongly preferred for this position
Candidates experience with monitoring systems will be the best fit for this position
We are particularly looking for candidates who have solid scripting skills
Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco ICM
Microsoft Windows 10 experience
Adeptness in Cisco CallManager
Earlier work involving NetScaler
Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server
Expertise in Microsoft Windows
Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Practical knowledge of Cisco Products
Microsoft Windows experience
General familiarity with Cisco Routers
Background working with Vmware Technologies
Cisco Certification experience highly desired
VMware experience highly preferred
7+ years of relevant experience - Candidates who have solid networking knowledge will be the best fit for this position
Experience with virtualization and containerization is required for success at this position
