Robert Half is seeking a dynamic Mainframe Systems Administrator with advanced knowledge in IMDS upgrades and IPL work for our client based out of the Walnut Creek area. This is an ONSITE Opportunity. Safety precautions will be in place and health guidelines will be followed. The Mainframe Systems Administrator will be responsible for the application releases and installations into production. This Mainframe Systems Administrator will also assist with the DR transitions from Tape to Cloud. This is an immediate need for roughly 8-10 months. Responsibilities Assist and trouble shoot the current Mainframe environmentProvide prime assistance towards application releases installation into production under given directionAssist with IDMS upgrades and IPL workAssist with DR transition from tape to cloudActively participate in cross training to understand current environment. Display data sets (folder hierarchy/structure).
