A Health tech start-up who creates their own flagship product that functions on both a web and mobile is looking for their second application security engineer. The official title is a Senior Application Security engineer reporting directly to the other security resource in the company which is the Director of Application Security. This start-up in just its 6 years of existence has really make a name for themselves having raised just about 150 million in funding. This role is exciting because it will be a mixture of enhancing current already developed security protocols and building security protocols from scratch. This role will also have a mix of both offensive and defensive security tasks.
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience
- AWS experience
- Web or mobile application experience
- CloudFormation (YAML, JSON) and Python, Ruby, Java or Go
- Experience in detection, monitoring, alerting or threat intelligence
- AWS Certificate
- Knowledge of consumer privacy industry compliance requirements; GDPR, CCPA
- Experience working with Mulesoft
- Healthcare experience
- Experience with ISO27001 experience
- CISSP, CEH, OSCP Certified
- Computer Science Degree
