Overview:
As a customer service and clerical employee for Anderson Valley Farm Supply, you will assist in a variety of aspects within the company. Your responsibilities will include providing customer service, ringing customers up using the computer and point of sale system, filing, creating purchase orders and vouchers, making inventory adjustments, printing inventory lists, answering the phones and taking messages as needed, taking rock/soil delivery orders as well as any additional duties requested.

Maintain customer service and selling as the priority
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task
Comprehend and maintain store and office standards
Follow all office and store operating procedures
Communicate effectively with Associates and Management
Be flexible to the needs of the business, your coworkers, and Management
Must be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
Skills Summary:
Ability to answer phones and take messages effectively
Previous sales experience desired but not required
Ability to navigate computers and adapt to new systems
Demonstrates energetic and positive attitude and a willingness to be a team player
Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Quickbooks desired
Ability to build and maintain relationships, solve problems, impact and influence others in a positive manner
Have self-drive and have the ability to work independently when needed
Be organized and pay attention to detail
Ability to conform to new tasks and duties as they come.
