Housekeeper Job Description:

Provide housekeeping tasks at a high end boutique hotel that consists of 18 cottages, a marina for guests with boats, swimming pool, high end landscaping, and barbecues “ located directly on Clearlake, CA.

Expectations:

Follow Managers directions in a timely basis

Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude of hospitality at all times

Key Job Duties and Tasks:

Organize the correct tools and supplies on their housekeeping cart in order to efficiently perform their housekeeping duties.

Ensure that your housekeeping caddie is fully stocked with the proper cleaners, sprays, rubber gloves, sponges, rags and toilet brush.

Gather and take to each cottage fresh sheets, pillow cases, washcloths, hand towels, bath towels, bath mats, dish towels, covers, fresh blankets and fresh pillows.

Gather in an amenities basket and take to the cottage shampoos, conditioners, lotions, make-up removers, soaps, coffee, creamer, coffee filters and stir sticks, liquid dish soap, toilet paper, facial tissue, paper towels, comment card and pen, magazine, and a fresh sponge.

Clean kitchens, living rooms, bedroom, bathroom, and decks/porches,

Report to management any missing items, damages, stains, cigarette odor, etc., as soon as you notice.

Pick up any trash items you notice on the grounds, cottage decks, in parking lots, near barbecues, at the marina, or the grass grounds near the lake.

Clean ice machine / coke machine vending area, pool bath rooms, as requested.

Help with laundry washing and folding.

Cheerfully respond to requests from general manager and front desk personnel that apply to customer requests / satisfaction.

Arrange glassware, dishes, and cookware in kitchen cottages to appear generously stocked and well appointed.

Tidy / straighten small appliances, towels, etc., as needed.

Tidy / make sure all chairs are placed properly around the table.

Lights / lamps turned on “ ready to welcome guests when a guest is checking in that day.

Heat or A/C turned on, when guest is arriving that day.

If a guest is checking in with an occupancy greater than two, add an extra set of towels per person in a basket and place near the vanity.

Make sure beds appear tidy, pillows are fluffed and nicely arranged.

Duvet covers and pillow cases should be neat and wrinkle free as possible.
