Starting salary up to $31.21/hour ($65,139/year), a cash allowance of $600/month, and a competitive total compensation package!
Do you have:
A valid Class A driver's license
A minimum of three years of road construction and maintenance or public works experience
Multiple years of experience operating heavy equipment and machinery
Extensive safety training, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to operating light machines and power tools

Public Works Maintenance Worker III's complete a variety of skilled public works road construction and maintenance projects which require the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment, light machines, and power tools such as: motor graders, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, large self-propelled rollers, diesel trucks, street sweepers, compactors, low-boy semis, hydraulic excavators, chip spreaders, and similar heavy equipment. They are also responsible for:
Interpreting grade stakes in order to make cuts, fills, slopes, banks, and stations
Assisting Maintenance Supervisors in marking out job sites with grade stakes
Completing daily time, work orders/requests, and material logs with Timesaver and Lucity software programs
Training Maintenance Worker I and II's in the safe operation of hand held tools, power tools, and equipment
Serving as a lead worker when the supervisor is absent
