Facebook's Augmented Reality (AR) team is driving the state of the art forward with breakthrough work in computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, displays, sensors, and new ways to map the human body. Our systems will enable AR devices where our real and virtual world will mix and match throughout the day. We believe the only way to achieve our goals is to look at the entire system architecture from silicon, through firmware and hardware sub-systems, to system level performance.As a Design Verification Engineer in Facebook's AR Product Hardware team, you will work with a world-class group of researchers and engineers to own the electrical system level verification of our products. You will work closely with researchers, architects, and designers in architecting our method of electrical verification for multiple state of the art systems. You will use your verification skills to define verification requirements, create test cases, design and implement the testing infrastructure, execute the testing, and report the results for the new product designs.

  • Define electrical verification methodologies for each of the different systems by working with researchers, architects, and the design teams
  • Define and track detailed test plans for the different modules and top level systems
  • Define, architect, design and drive implementation of scalable test infrastructure
  • Keep track of coverage metrics and bugs encountered and fixed
  • Own execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical system level verification work status and results
  • Support system bring up and debug activities
  • Clearly communicate test plans and results

  • 5+ years experience of electrical system verification for consumer electronics
  • Experience with definition of verification requirements
  • Experience owning areas of product verification
  • Experience with definition, architecture, design, and driving implementation of test automation
  • Experience with C#, Python, and LabVIEW
  • Experience with firmware verification
  • Experience with board level verification
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Experience with system and sub system power verification
  • Masters in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
