We are looking for a full-time IT Engineer/Jr System Admin that can wear many hats in supporting our growing company. This bright energetic person’s primary focus will be supporting the Information Technology team with the desktop support for our Windows and Mac laptops, 1st level IT support for our onsite/remote end-usersThe company is a 24-hour business with offices in US and India. Since this role will also aid with support for our Menlo Park, Tucson, and Bangalore offices, as well as our remote workforce, you will need at times to be available for after-hours work. Must be personable as you will be directly interfacing with our employees and staff members.This position will be an onsite role in our Menlo Park office. Candidates will be expected to be onsite a minimum of two days per week RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot laptop issues software, hardware, new installations, and repair.
- End-user support for our onsite and remote users.
- Help with processing new hires’ onboarding and staff terminations.
- Support laptops, printers & peripherals
- Network monitoring & troubleshooting if needed.
- Reporting and logging of various cloud applications. Jamf, OKTA, CrashPlan, Office 365, Zoom, Cisco Umbrella, G Suite, TrendMicro, Atlassian, Dropbox, and others.
- 4+ Years of experience in the information technology field.
- Must have good Windows and OSX Mac laptop support knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting remote users.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office365
- Jira & Confluence skills are a plus.
- Familiar with Lenovo and Apple laptop hardware
- Windows 10, and 11, + OSX experience
- Working knowledge of switches & Vlans and general networking concepts.
- SaaS application experience desired - Jamf, OKTA, CrashPlan, Office 365, Zoom, Slack, G Suite, TrendMicro, Atlassian, Dropbox, Cisco VPN
- VMW experience is a plus.
