As a System Integration Engineer, the ideal candidate will be the single point of contact for planning, execution, and delivery of features and functionality enabling the delivery of world class products. In this role, the candidate will be the engineering interface to the firmware/software team and key partner to the firmware/software management and leadership. The candidate will also have a strong ability to communicate within the hardware organization and with cross functional partner teams.

  • Lead intake of cross functional feature requests and defining of requirements.
  • Support scoping of feature requests, prioritization, dependency and risk identification and mitigation.
  • Lead the creation of team deliverables, milestones, and planning to meet project and internal customer requirements.
  • Define processes, build tracking and status tools, and lead changes for improved efficiency.
  • Manage feature definition, implementation, and development.
  • Drive delivery of release builds to cross functional partners.
  • Support defect tracking and management within the hardware team and cross functional partners.
  • Maintain continued alignment of dependencies with cross functional partners.
  • Primary point of contact for the Firmware team and representing the team in cross functional discussions.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the Firmware through team meetings and cross functional meetings.
  • Provide status plans, communications, alignment, and progress across internal hardware team and cross functional partners.

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years industry experience directly contributing to product development in hardware or software organizations.
  • Experience with communication skills, problem-solving, project planning.

  • MS in Electrical or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in firmware or embedded software development.
