Art Director/Senior Designer: Brand, Illustration & Motion

Job Description

Brainrider is looking for an experienced, tenacious marketing communications art director or senior designer to join our client-embedded on-site team, as a member of the client's internal marketing creative team.

This new team member willhelp maintain a high-quality bar for the client's internal creative work. The right candidate is a bonafide triple threat withstrong motion design, branding/identity, andIllustrationskills with an online portfolio to prove it.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and own projects with various stakeholders
• Create designs that clearly communicate the client's brand and products to the business community
• Develop materials and design systems for scaled communications
• Represent the creative team in cross-functional teams and meetings as the visual communication design expert

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. degree
• Proven problem solving in complex product spaces
• Experience working in art and/or design organizations
• Strong online design portfolio featuring business/marketing design work including presentation decks, design systems, content assets, templates, and more.
• Expertise in AfterEffects,Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint and/or Keynote, and Sketch
• Demonstrated ability to tell stories and communicate concepts with easy-to-understand visuals
• Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly explain design concepts and solutions and accept constructive feedback
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment & manage intensive workload
• Ability to hit the ground running and work in a fast-paced environment
• At least 5-10 years of directly related experience designing for marketing

Additional Information

Compensation: annual salary of $115,000 - $130,000 plus 15 days PTO per year, 11 stateHolidays,medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and other benefits and perks.
