Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.Summary: This Facilities management position within the FCS team (Facilities, Culinary, and Security) has site operations management accountability for Facebook’s facilities programs and day-to-day activities for a region within the Bay Area Facebook portfolio. This full-time position is located Menlo Park and will report to the Facilities Operations Manager.Required Skills:

Create, implement and manage operational objectives and processes in a region-wide setting, remaining adaptable to changing environments.

Drive innovation as a thought leader ensuring FCS is at the forefront of the industry by bringing strategic direction to the team.

Builds, encourages, develops and trains a group of facility managers, vendor partners and their staff to carry out operations and strengthen their leadership and promote career growth.

Set and meet/exceed aggressive goals in that contribute to all values core to FCS service and Facebook.

Become a trusted partner, building strong relationships with business leaders and FCS partners that enhance the employee experience and ability to scale within the region.

High level customer relationship management, constantly adding business leadership to the portfolio in a dynamic environment.

Effectively communicate FCS mission and strategies to executive management through timely, relevant, thorough, and tailored communication.

Maintain full ownership of regional operating budget, forecast and tracking of the monthly/quarterly finances. Collaborate with finance team members to analyze and report on financial trends for sites and region.

Implement and manage regional vendor strategy in support of organizational goals.

Be independent, flexible and creative to respond to customers and projects as they may occur.

Participate in any site/country/portfolio level crisis including local FM, HR, FCS Leadership, GSS, Resiliency.

Partner with procurement on opportunities to RFP and/or negotiate service contracts.

Work with global and local peers to ensure consistency, lessons learned and best practices across regions.

Prepare and submit project proposals for review and approval by business leaders.

Continuously identify areas for improving efficiency to drive business to operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent experience in a high performing Facilities organization

10+ years facilities operations, environmental health & safety, and project management experience, including a significant portion demonstrating success in similar sized and complex organizations

Communication skills: experience leading cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management: interpersonal skill

Experience mutlitasking effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, growing environment

Budgeting, planning and decision-making experience and experience defining and meeting performance requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience identifying and solving ambiguous problems

Comfortable with legal terms and structures for standard commercial contracts

Industry certifications including but not limited to FMP, CFM, PMP, SFP, CPM, PE
